Gynaecology Surgery
Michael is an experienced gynaecological surgeon with over 18 years’ experience as a consultant gynaecologist. He believes in a team approach and works closely with other specialist when required. He can offer both open and laparoscopic surgery and operates in London from King Edwards V11’s Hospital and The Lister Hospital and in Dorset from The Winterbourne Hospital in Dorchester.
Sports Gynaecology
Michael has a wide experience in addressing gynaecological problems in sports women. He has attended 2 Olympic Games and until its recent closure was Gynaecologist at the Olympic Medical Centre. He has helped develop guidelines on exercise in pregnancy and lectures on the effect of exercise on female health.
General Gynaecology
Michael’s special interest is based around reproductive endocrinology. Other interests include: infertility, menopause, period problems and irregular bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, pelvic pain and endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, gynaecological problems associated with sports women and
integrated women’s healthcare.
His research thesis was on Premenstrual Syndrome. |
